Sustainable art & craft
While I explore different media both in my own work and when facilitating workshops, I aim to use materials that are gentle on the environment. Art work is created with water based or vegetable based inks and paints, and paper which is FSC certified, made from waste from the cotton trade, or recycled. It takes time to find the most sustainable and ethical materials, and I’m some way from being able to say that all of the art materials fulfil these criteria, but as I find companies that produce or supply suitable art materials, I’ll add them to this page (click on the names to go to their websites). If you know of companies not mentioned here, or think that I have included a company incorrectly, please let me know and I’ll update this page.
